Problem - Finding good content
The Internet is filled with great content. Did you know, that there are over a billion blogs, 35 million YouTube channels and close to a million podcasts? Good contents is scattered across multiple website and updates frequently. It is not practical to use a regular search engine to consume such content.
Conventional search engines focus on finding one off information. For example, say you are looking for photography tips, or what camera to buy. However, if you are a photography enthusiast, you need to consume fresh photography related content on a daily basis. It is not practical for you to do daily searches. This is further complicated because you have other interests. You might be a parent, your regular job might have other interests. The list goes on and on. Your taste graph is complicated.
FlockBrain is your customizable portal to the Internet. We curate fresh content tailored to your exact taste.
Taste Graph - the geeky stuff
We define user taste in terms of keywords. Keywords have interrelationships. For example photography and camera lenses are interrelated. Someone who likes photography would like camera lenses too. A collection of keywords describe a person's taste.
How does it work?
We collect fresh content from the web. We collect blogs, podcasts, videos, white papers, etc. We give priority to freshness. We classify the content based on keywords, then present it to you according to your taste graph.
Sample Taste Graph
The following is a sample taste graph.
